Paratransit Application

Petersburg Paratransit is an ADA service for approved applicants who have an application on file. Paratransit provides origin-to-destination service. Our service area includes the entire City of Petersburg and City of Hopewell. Paratransit services portions of Colonial Heights, portions of Dinwiddie County and Portions of Prince George County. We will transport up to a three quarter (3/4) mile radius of our service area. 

We, Paratransit, do not provide service to The City of Richmond or Chesterfield County.

If you are receiving transportation for store trips, please be advised that you are allowed a maximum of five bags that you can handle. For the safety of our Paratransit drivers, or operators, they will not be able to assist you with any of your bags, including cases of water, juice, and/or soda. If you need more assistance than we are able to provide, please indicate on your application that you will need a personal attendant/PCA. This is someone that you select to go with you on your scheduled trip. Paratransit drivers, or operators, are not personal attendants/PCA.

Please fully complete the application. Once completed you can mail or fax the application to the contact information listed on the application. We will review your application if it is fully completed and contact you for an interview.

OUR OFFICE HOURS ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. THE OFFICE IS CLOSED ON WEEKENDS AND MAJOR HOLIDAYS. IF YOU GET OUR VOICEMAIL, PLEASE LEAVE ONE MESSAGE, AND YOUR CALL WILL BE RETURNED DURING NORMAL OFFICE BUSINESS HOURS.
